As its name suggests, the sewing stopping point is used to stop the thread of a seam. There are several techniques for making a stopping point by hand or with a sewing machine. Below we will teach you how to make a solid stopping point by hand. 1. At the end of your sewing, stitch your news one last time: 739845 fabric and take out the needle towards you. Then make a short stitch just above the last needle exit point.
2. Wrap the thread three or four times around the tip of the needle.
3. Pull the needle so as to tighten the thread on the short stitch previously made. You then get a solid breakpoint. You just have to cut the excess thread to finish your sewing.
